Marcus Andreas Kihn Born 1969 in Toronto, Canada. Sang in the church choir from 14 to 18. Studied piano for 1 year at the age of 13 and later continued playing by ear. Didn't take music in school but pissed off the high school music teachers on several occasions for jamming with the music students at lunch. Taught himself guitar during college and began writing and recording playing all the parts. Started to build a home studio after several attempts at forming a band with friends had failed because of the sometimes slow pace of the "band" writing process. Soon realized the magical outlet music was and his writing style began to take shape. Recorded constantly and every once in a while would gather 10 or 12 songs together and compile an album. He printed them in low runs and mainly gave them to friends and such. Released an independent CD finally in 2004 called 'Together' and got nothing but positive feedback. He seemed to have touched a chord in people. Started getting more involved in the production process and began to write original music and do sound design for commercial TV. Began producing and working with other local acts to expose himself to the once abandoned "collaborative" experience. Now he still writes but it is more focused. He hasn't subscribed to one genre because of his fierce affections for all music so he creates anything that is on his mind. The home studio has given him the freedom to truly live with music everyday and always capture any thought and any given time. He has played very few live performances due to his busy schedule. Has produced several local acts to date.
