I started playing guitar when I was 11 years old. My dad had a Sears Silvertone and I learned to play American folk songs out of a book. Then, I progressed, as a teenager, to garage bands. In ninth grade, I belonged to a band called the Blue Shadows. We played at one of our school dances and everyone loved us. We also did a gig one time at Mercury Roller Rink in Norfolk, VA. Those were great times. A lot has changed since then, but my love of music and my love of playing has only increased. One of those changes occurred when I was 23 years old- I met Jesus. From that point on, as I got more involved in church and things of the Lord, I, naturally, progressed into worship music and became a worship leader for several churches. That area of my music has continued to grow. I have retained my own style of music and have transferred that gift and style into my worship of the Lord. I hope you enjoy my songs as much as I enjoy playing them.
