Matt Jernigan, who grew up in a small town in the South, Tabor City, NC created this album with all the influences of the music from the 50's up until today. Growing up playing piano and guitar, Matt started writing music about 10 years ago. This album is full of different styles and flavors, and gives you the feeling of a sit-down, laid back, almost "live" session. Matt sings all the vocals, plays acoustic guitar, harmonica, and even creates the beats with his mouth on a couple songs. There is a hint of funk, some blues, a little pop, some country, and old school rock. There are some instrumental tracks where Matt experiments with electric guitar, keys, and bass. This album is fun to listen to and actually has something to say, lyrically. You can tell that this album comes from a deeper place than just the ordinary. Matt was inspired to write these songs by God. He has been blessed to do this album, and hopes that this album blesses others, but most importantly blesses God. All the proceeds for this album will go to Children's Hunger Fund, an organization that feeds the hungry across the world.
