Kevin McKrell Lead singer and principle songwriter in 80's popular Irish Folk band Donnybrook Fair and Celtic Bluegrass Band The McKrells Kevin McKrell has gone on to perform on the venerable stages of Carnegie Hall,Troy Music Hall, Berklee Performance Hall and Lincoln Center . With perfomances at some of the top music festivals including, Winterhawk Bluegrass Festival, The Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Canyon Country Bluegrass Festival, Friehofer Jazz Festival, Celtic festivals in Milwaukee, Savannah, Philadelphia, Buffalo. Northeast Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year 2000, writer of The Northeast Country Music Association Song of the Year 2000, Albany N.Y. Times Union Singer-Songwriter of the year 2000. Kevin McKrells songs have been recorded by Celtic and Folk artists from around the world, from Ireland The Furey Brothers and Seamus Kennedy from Australia Pat McKernan from the United States The Kingston Trio and Hair of The Dog to name a few.
