Memory Day was a group way ahead of it's time when it first released it's independent CD, Jenkins Farm in 1992. Self produced and recorded in an old movie theatre on East Hastings Street near Skid Row, the band worked day and night on and old Tascam 38 1/2 inch 8 track for one year to produce this remarkable album. The style of recording and songwriting is so good that the album itself should be listened to all in one sitting. The songs are all connected and blend together. The mix creates a sound that is hard to describe.... Part folk, part rock, part classical pop. Features Lanny Hussey on guitars and vox, Scott Fletcher on Bass, harmonica, mandolin, and vox, Todd Oliver on drums and Charlie Mackenzie on Vox and guitars. This is a classsic Canadian album not to be missed and now exclusively available only through CD Baby!
