Treat yourself to a truly original lounge-a-licious cocktail called the Menagerie of Extravagance! This talented duo's debut CD 'Identity Crisis' has everything the discriminating (and slightly whacked) listener wants: Lyrics that swing effortlessly from poetic introspection to biting sarcasm, gorgeous melodies, dramatic vocals and truly inspired keyboard accompaniment. From the 60's pop title track 'Identity Crisis' to the macabre 'Jealousy is an Evil Clown' and sassy 'Men in Uniform', you will marvel at the Menagerie's versatility in style and mood, not to mention the razor sharp wit. The Vocalist: Tamara Evans describes herself as a cross between 'sophisticated chanteuse and maladjusted teenager' She maintains that working in a psychiatric clinic for 6 years and riding metro buses for 18 has given her all the inspiration she needs as a writer/performer. She also believes humor is as vital to survival as air, water and good fashion sense. The Keyboardist: David Brunn is a musician, composer, and producer. He has written, produced, and performed music for theatre, film and video, and the avant-garde. He is a pioneer in synthesizer artistry but composes mainly on the grand piano. David also teaches and performs the Tabla drums of North India. Collaboration and credits include: Disney, Entros, National Geographic and Cirque du Soleil.
