Believe It! Is the latest release from producer/composer/keyboardist Mike Kapitan. Best described as an eclectic, jazzy, club joint it is a sample based exploration in contemporary electronic music. Mike's previous release 500 Megs Fine! - Colorful recorded in 1995-96 features touches of drum 'n bass, downtempo, and world music in addition to the lovely single I Don't Want To Lose You featuring singer Rachel Murray. Mike's background includes keyboards and programming on two Thomas Dolby albums including Aliens Ate My Buick which garnered two Grammy nominations. Mike toured with Dolby as part of his backing band The Lost Toy People and worked as a composer for Dolby's Headspace multimedia company. Credits also include work in television with projects as varied as producing club tracks for television soaps, recording and mixing music for HBO and network television films, and for Mutato Muzika, Mark Mothersbaugh's (DEVO) music production company,re-orchestrating and recording music for Popeye cartoons for Turner Entertainment.
