Her lyrics are rich in visual imagery, undeniable wit, and intelligence, while her voice possesses sultry and exotic flavors. Born in New England, Monica Taft graduated from a local college with honors. While attending college, Monica studied Classical and Broadway works extensively, lending her strong vocals to several choirs and choruses, and performed in several local musical productions. In addition, she has studied and played piano for over 20 years, and is currently attending Berklee College of Music.
