Ben Neill is a tenor based in Atlanta. He trained at Shorter College and sang the role of Tony in their prize winning Kennedy Center production of "West Side Story." He also snang the lead role of Byron in an Equity reading of Larry Corse's musical "Byron: a Masque at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City. Dr. Larry Corse is the founder of the Larry Corse Prize for Playwriting and a composer. He wrote the opera's "LBJ" with a libretto by Brad Fairchild, "The Cherry Tree" with a libretto by Ed Valentine, and "The Widow's New Umbrella" to a libretto by Kevin Snipes. He has also co-authored two books of poetry with poet Brad Fairchild, "Nominative Gestures: Pigeons and Centers" and "Travel Is a State of Mind." As a novelist, Dr. Corse wrote "Out Late: a memoir, a fiction."
