Nemesisbleu consists of guitarist Roberto Tyson and drummer/percussionist Cedric Givens, two incredibly talented musicians and songwriters who have joined forces to create a Radio friendly groove oriented jazz music. Together their musical influences combine to create a genuinely unique sound that overwhelmingly connects with listeners. Roberto Tyson who was born in Cuba and reared in Puerto Rico and NYC brings Latin, Caribbean and traditional jazz influences to the music. Roberto was schooled in the ways of the grand masters of jazz guitar from an early age. As a prodigy in his early youth he played along side his father, also a guitarist, with the premier musicians of the time and developed a reputation as one of the best players around. Cedric Givens the renaissance man of the group began his career as a drummer at an early age. Throughout his childhood development he listened to and experimented with every genre of music that he was exposed to. In his teens he established himself as an R&B and Funk musician not only playing drums but learning guitar as a secondary instrument. Cedric also doubles as the producer and bandleader for Nemesisbleu. This release also features the talents of world-class percussionist Gumbi Ortiz (of the Al DiMeola Band) and the sultry and captivating vocalist Marcy 'Lady Ann' Hamilton. Also lending their musical and production talents are keyboardist Vernon Burrell and bassist Derek Burrell. There is a little something for every mood on this hot release.
