Nemochrome is powerful melodic modern rock. A simple formula of memorable melodies and big harmonies has helped Nemochrome carve their initials in the Boston rock scene. Call it Neil Finn meets Soundgarden meets Catherine Wheel, Nemochrome will fill your ears and massage your brain with songs that are a dynamic collection of hooks and moods with smart lyrics and soaring guitars. Recognized early on by VH1, Nemochrome was chosen as a winner of VH1's Rock Across America contest in the summer of 1999, getting a chance to show their stuff on the big stage at the Fleet-Boston Pavillion. Nemochrome continues to perform in and around Boston, steadily increasing a loyal fan base. Still relative newcomers to the Boston scene, Nemochrome is comfortable in their role. Nemochrome tunes have been featured on Boston radio stations WBCN and WMLN and have received attention from Foo Fighter's Dave Grohl. Craig sings and plays guitar. A penchant for unique guitar parts, Craig's playing is rich with unusual chords and catchy riffs. A singer who sings from within, the melodies are tailor made for his soft tenor. Enter Robb Prchal, the percussionist/drummer from Connecticut who came to the big city to be a rock star. Starts and stops and odd time signatures, not every drummer's dream, but Robb pulls it off without breaking a sweat. A drummer with a unique melodic sense that helps propel a Nemochrome song into the stratosphere. Moira Gill, providing the 'Fleetwood Mac vibe'. As a co-vocalist, Moira sings the main harmonies and even sings a few lead vocals of her own. A mix of percussion and guitar playing makes her a busy girl. Then there's Tim. Tim plays bass and sings. A compliment to the soundscapes of Nemochrome, like a grounding wire or a rocket ship thrust.
