Next to Serve is the missing link! Please believe it! These two mc's from the streets of south central L.A. are poised and ready like a #1 ranked heavyweight contender with a shot at the title. Big words you say but understand they've been underground just waiting, hungry for the opportunity to show what there made of and what they got to bring in this congested market of hip-hop! In deed there's a surprise in store for every person buying the highly anticipated CD called crowd control.Lefty and Happy don't hold back on any of the 16 bumpin ass tracks produced by Kast and Fame from Dead End studios, the homeys Big Foot and K-matic and Joe from Little Green Sudios. They've upped there game to challenge the big dogs in the industry and feel confident that there humbleness and belief in themselves will carry them over the top where the skys the limit. With the street legend Kaydo of the infamous Kausion spittin on the song The Leftside or Brown Shady blessin a verse on FurLo nothing can hold them back and there music proves that they definetly have longevity in this business.Coming from different parts of the U.S. it was destiny that Lefty and Big Happs crossroads and form one of the best rap duo's coming out of South Central L.A. The two have embarked on a mission to bring nothin but fire in the now congested market of hip hop. As Big Happy told us 'these fools out here swearin they bringing it!!' 'Naw!' 'We coming from the waistband with it on the serve!' Lefty Knuckles states 'Yeah the reaason for the album being called crowd control is just that.' 'We want to have the crowd out of control when we spittin cuz we ain't lyin to the people we reachin!' 'We keepin it honest and talkin about what we now and believe period doggie!' 'On the Serve!' They've been underground for sometime know but are ready to really show what that left coasts all about. Lefty was born and raised until the age of 15 in Dover N.J and moved to various parts of the country (Tx, Pa) before touching down in sunny southern cali at the age of 19. Big Happy was raised all his life in sur centro where learning how to survive was more than a want it was a need. The two met up at a studio and the rest is history. 'A couple of collabos one mixtape and we was certain' says lefty about them reppin the Serve. 'We the bizness!',says Happs. Lefty was nothing new to being a troublemaker and soon was riding with his peoples from the Ramona Gardens Housing Projects seeing the lifestyle and becoming entangled in different street drama that came with reppin the varrio. Lefty states 'Yo!' 'It probably sounds corny to some fools but I don't give a f*** that's how my life went down. I ain't no killa but I'll drop them dogs on yah!' 'Besides when I was in Jersey I saw the movie 'Colors' and that turned me to the lifestyle real hard. 'I was always formin little crews and shit cuz really I thought I'd never see Cali no way, but as soon as I got here I looked for it and it was fate. Lefty formed Latin Bomb Squad with some friends from the hood and they gained some success but not really knowing the bizness halted there forward progress and dealing with record company politics as well as there own inner battles caused the group to split and deal with other things more important. Lefty was out of control at this time and needed to look deeper at himself and find a comfort zone. Finally realizing the task at hand and with his homey Big Happy ready to make things happen the two embarked on dropping the Next 2 Serve album. Big Happs has been rappin for years and has established quite a fan base in the S.C. area. Known for his slick talking and tight way of delivering his rhymes has made him look further into making his dreams come true as an MC. Big Happs started rhyming with his brother and a few of the crew from Next 2 Serve. They were doing little demos at the crib and Happs just kept on doing the bizness way after his brother and the rest of the homies slowed down. He hooked up with a homey from the hood and recorded even more material and began building for his first mixtape. The mixtape 'Hardtimes' began as a good building block for Happs getting alot of good feed back and doing shows with Brown Shady in Arizona. Ultimately the group as a whole has alot to bring to the ear of the consumer and in 2006 Next 2 Serve looks ready to make a name for themselves as true West Coast Rydaz.
