Product Notes

This album is a follow-up to Noah's 2005 release "So Far", and it brings a very different side of Noah out for everyone to see. For this album (Noah's first full length release) he worked and recorded in a new studio with a new producer to try and catch the new songs in a very different light. Noah's goal for this album was to showcase a more mature, and personal writing style, as well as to put together an amazing sound, that really compliments his acoustic and electric guitar playing. This was accomplished with 8 brand new songs, as well as re-recordings of two favorites from his self titled EP "Noah Wilker", With the new songs, Noah opened up a lot more lyrically, and really shows a personal side, not seen or heard on previous releases. Even though the songs are a bit more personal, people will still have the ability to relate just as much as they did on past albums. Noah's goal when writing a song, is to not only put a bit of himself out, for people to see, but to also make it a song that most people can sit and listen to, and feel like they know the feelings, and have felt or understand where they are coming from. As mentioned earlier, the album also features two re-recordings of songs previously released on the EP "Noah Wilker". "Ode To Loneliness" and "Maybe" are two songs that have turned out to be two live favorites for people at shows over the past few years. When the thought started bouncing around, it was important to really make them better than they were originally. Since they were straight acoustic songs on the first recording, Noah really wanted to put a band behind them. For Ode To Loneliness, Noah also enlisted a very close friend to help with the recording. Logan Laflotte has been recording and touring nationally with his band "Paulson" for years. Logan and Noah have been close friends for a long time, and Noah really wanted to have him record with him, on past CD's. When the band finished recording the new version of "Ode", Noah knew that this was the song to have Logan come sing with him, and without doubt....it was. It has the intensity Noah was striving for. All in all, this album is a phenomenal look into Noah, his personality, and his life. These songs are so diverse in feel and mood, but flow together perfectly, to make an amazing album, that anyone would like. T.
