Product Notes

This the 2008 release of Old Red's debut album "Shots In The Dark," introducing the mystical storytelling and piercing voice of one of Ireland's newest talents. Among his original work, the crowd-pleasing track "ZACK SNAKES" has been featured on U.S. and European compilations and has become quite the gem of a video on YouTube. The ethereal track "THE PRIDE BEHIND" has been hailed as one of Old Red's many signature seductions. You'll be sure to get a sense of homage to Bob Dylan, Rufus Wainwright, and Neil Young. All tracks were written by wordsmith Paul Kirwan, each possessing it's own spirit. Although with life and it's uncertainties, the simple pursuit for something better becomes our own shot in the dark. Old Red's 12 "Shots in the Dark" is set to become quite the caravan in your music collection. After supporting an array of artists, including the Counting Crows, and grace international stages, Old Red is indebted to all of the artists and supporters. A new time for music is here, so please support what moves you.
