Persistence Recordings presents it's debut release in the form of a 4-track EP from Panouvre. Smooth, melodic downbeat influenced by dub and fooling around on synthesizers. Tim Burcham presents his first release in over 2 years, this time as Panouvre. He's had previous releases as Moth, on the drum&bass/breaks-oriented Terraformat Records (Denver), as well as a history of self-release CDRs, and custom-written Live PAs. On Terraformat, Tim released Sugar Crashing, as 12' split with the UK's Konflict, as well as three tracks on the earlier System Evolution compilation. With the release of 'EP', Tim moves into much slower, dub-oriented territory, but with trademark solid sub-bass rumbling through every track, and long, building synth melodies to keep things interesting. Perfect for the downtempo or dub club set, for the late night before a deadline, or for casual listening. File under Electronic, Dub, Experimental, Downtempo.
