The Particles began as the brainchild of brothers/songwriters, Scott Arey (keyboards and lead vocals) and Justin Arey (guitar). Jimmi Ward (bass) and Nathan Helms (drums) round out the band. With many years of experience on stage and in the studio, the band ensures a professional, entertaining presentation of their material. Their current release, 'Inhumanity,' produced by Grammy Award winner Johannes Luley (whose studio credits include Wonderlick, Mermen, Camouflage and Hopscotch), showcases the band's musical prowess and the songwriting talent of the Arey brothers. Influenced by artists such as Stone Temple Pilots, Incubus, and Oasis, The Particles achieve an intense, powerful sound, with hook laden songs and thought provoking lyrics that touch on contemporary issues. The Particles are currently in the studio recording music for an upcoming release with producer Adam Rossi, whose studio credits include local heroes Luce, mega-platinum selling duo Savage Garden, saxophonist Kenny G and Latin sensation Mark Anthony. The band hopes you enjoy the CD, 'Inhumanity,' and looks forward to playing at your nightclub in the near future.
