Paul, who also plays banjo and harmonica has been in many of Philadelphias top bands including She-Haw, The Boxcars, Naked Omaha, and the Butcher Holler Boys. He contributes to Three songs on 'Burlap Palace', a Philadelphia tribute to the sounds of the Muscle Shoals Studio during which he worked with legendary producer Jimmy Johnson.
