Pierre Walker is the primary organist for Gospel legend Rev. Clay Evans at Fellowship Baptist Church, which was founded by Rev.Evans and pastored by Pastor Charles Jenkins. He's also on the music staff at St.Sabina Church, Rev.Michael Pfleger is pastor. Pierre is an accomplished songwriter and arranger. One of his greatest credits is the 1993 Grammy nominated song he composed, 'He'll Make A Way' which was performed by Tyrone Block and the Christ Tabernacle Church Combined Choirs. This particular church, at the time, was under the leadership of the late Rev. Milton Brunson. Pierre started his musical journey in Philadelphia, Pa. at 19th Street Baptist church where his father, Rev.Charles Walker, is pastor. Project: Sanctified has been featured at the House Of Blues and the Chicago Gospel Music Festival. Pierre has performed extensively in Europe, including a performance at Teatro al La Scala in Milan, Italy. Pierre is also a member of the Stellar Award nominated Inspirational Jazz groupe called MASQUE. His release entitled Project: Sanctified, is a reflection of the deep and complexed musical and spiritual dynamics in this young man.
