Product Notes

Justin (Ray Clout)Simmons, born in May 11,1979 in Muskogee,OK. Son of a choir director, Justin began to experience a Gospel and Soulful sound at a very early age.Raised from a baptist church standpoint, where he was taught the fundamentals of singing from his mother. In the mid 80's when (hip hop) was climbing up it's peak. Justin pulled right into it. At the age of 14 he spent most of his childhood mimicking rap artists and rap groups like WU-TANG,NAS,and Jeru the Damaja. In 97, Justin team up with a close friend (Severin Everly) who wrote rhymns and lyrics as well; instigating and starting high school rap battles in classrooms and gymnasiums. In 2005, Justin team up with some close friends (WEBB,DOC,and PEEP) who experienced with music at a early age as well, began writing songs and experimenting with different sounds at 15st and Edison in a two story vacant house. Singing hooks and adlibs, people started to give a better response and bigger understanding with his singing instead of his rapping......and his been singing every since.
