Product Notes

I wrote all songs on this CD, a friend of mine described them as 'Electric Voodoo lullabies', I liked that so I'll stick with it. I recorded, performed and mixed it more or less by myself. I have been told that the singels are nr8 'The Wind' and nr3 'You and Me'. Review by Claes Olson NMB Sweden: June 2005 The Musician Raymond King is probably best known (in Sweden) as the dread cellist and guitar player in Thomas di Levas band, but his impressive bio contains much more than that. During the last 10 years he has preformed with such diverse artists as Mikael Wiehe and The Zeppelin duo JimmyPage & RobertPlant and his self-willed musicianship has resulted in scoring for stage and radio dramas alone and together with Dror Feiler. The self titled solo album is a compilation of atmospheric songs where King with friends builds a rhythmic and hypnotic foundation for a message that envelops your mind. Bearing in mind that King avoids to be trapped in any musical genre while maintaining a homogeneous continuity is an impressive proof of strength.
