PRELUDE I - King Solomon's Home 'Put it in the hands of the Masons. We can't let let any descendant of David ever recapture it. It would surely bring the end of the world.' King Solomon said. With an air of loyalty and reverence the Philistine leader took the treasure and loaded it onto his humble carriage and went away into the night all alone. PRELUDE II - The Deathbed of Mozart Salieri walked into the room where Mozart was lying. It was a meeting of master and genius. Salieri closed the door and in a low voice uttered these words, "Mozart, we both know that you are dying. We need to discuss the Masonic pinnacle. The biggest secret the world has ever known. One that could bring about the end of times." Mozart looked at his master and said, "Yes master let's not bring the end of times. That would be not good. I want people to hear the music of Mozart for a little while longer." Salieri laughed and replied, "Son, our Lord in Heaven will be playing your glorious music forever." Mozart smiled and appreciated the compliment. "Thank you." "Save it for the next life dear friend. We must discuss the secret." Salieri looked to his left and then to his right to make sure little Constance wasn't listening. Satisfied he continued. "The high Masons have agreed to relocate the secret. We decided to place the secret underneath your remains." Mozart looked at his friend and said, "But I have no money, my love of life has left me in debt and now I must face a paupers burial." Salieri cut him off at the word. "No. No. Never. We will place you upon the greatest treasure known to mankind. You heir Mozart will rest with the Masonic secret. After all, the greatest composer to ever live is only worthy of such an honor." Mozart inhaled and coughed a brutal cough. "My dear friend. My dear master. What is this treasure? I know not. I never could focus on my upper lever Masonic responsibilities." "I will tell you now but in return you must promise never to utter it. Also could I help you finish your Requiem?" Salieri asked. Peeved Mozart put his hand to his head. He could not stand others meddling in his pesky way. But for the knowledge and the fact that he had no clue what should follow that wicked chord he just set down to paper he agreed. Reluctantly he sputtered, "I must be getting old. Okay." Saliatory bent over the dying body of the greatest genius of all time and whispered just five words. "The Arc of the Covenant." Mozart unfurled his brow and looked down to the ground and felt the enormity of the situation. He looked up and said, "Is that all. What a bunch of junk. Now help me finish my death." Illuminated, Saliatory picked up the feather quill. "Okay how about resolving this dissonance to a pure C# minor chord with the 3rd in the bass and the tonic on top?" Mozart picked up instantly and pulled in a healthy batch of air. "No you fool, that would be stupid. Just let me tell you the notes and you just write them down. Exactly as I dictate. No monkey business." Go Fast - Nov 2006.
