Retro Ignite is the new electro-powerpop, indie-style\'d rock driven band that fuses together vintage synthesizers and original electronic sequencing with dynamic guitars, melodic piano riffs and emotionally charged choruses. In January/February of 2008, armed with a Macbook Pro and an arsenal of smooth hooks, they\'ve recently joined forces with Long Island engineer Mike Watts of Vudu Studios (As Tall As Lions, Self Against City, Hopesfall, The Junior Varsity). Retro Ignite\'s style derives many influences ranging anywhere from current hot bands such as Metro Station, Panic At The Disco, The Cab, and Hellogoodbye to indie rock artists Modest Mouse and The Strokes. Although Retro Ignite, is a fairly new pop band to the music scene, this aspiring group of young and hardworking musicians are not, having received home show opening slots on many major and major independent label tours including Columbia, Fueled By Ramen, Maverick, Drive-Thru, Triple Crown, and Doghouse Records with bands such as The Jonas Brothers, Hellogoodbye, Halifax, Houston Calls, Self Against City, Valencia, Ryan Cabrera, Lit, This Providence, Forever The Sickest Kids, Permanent Me, As Tall As Lions, Patent Pending, My American Heart, Envy on the Coast, The Morning Of, Jet Lag Gemini, City Sleeps, Sherwood, Split Fifty, Driving East, and Action Action.
