One can define Lady as a woman of superior social position, a Bishop as a high ranking official who is known for making moves. These are the qualities that best define Krystele Guy, the Brooklyn native who is also known as Lady Bishop. Starting at a young age, Lady Bishop began writing poetry, rap, and R&B songs as a hobby. By age 12, she began performing in various shows both in and outside of New York City. For many years Lady Bishop performed with the All Stars Talent Show Network, where she also committed herself to becoming one of their youth leaders. She guest performed at the Philadelphia All Stars and the Phyllis Hyman Phat Friend Awards where DJ Red Alert, DJ Demo, news anchor Dania Taylor and actor Malik Yoba (just to name a few) were awarded for their community leadership. Lady Bishop was awarded in year 2000 for her community leadership. Now 22 years old, Lady Bishop isn't only known to showcase promoters, performers and those who embrace underground hip-hop. Lady Bishop is also familiar to many theatre goers. She has single handedly managed to expose her writing and acting talents to the Off-Broadway Theatre audience as a performer with the Castillo Theatre. Her performance in the first production of 'Hip-Hop Cabaret' was phenomenal. This stage production was the first of it's kind, which introduced Hip-Hop in a Cabaret setting. Lady Bishop's self titled character expressed life as a young up coming female in the hip-hop culture. This production also gave her a chance to promote two songs form her then upcoming promotional album (originally titled) 'F*** you, Hate me'. Her songs 'I'm coming home' and 'I'd rather' where greatly embraced by an audience who appreciated great acting, writing and performing. After the ending season one of 'Hip-Hop Cabaret' Lady Bishop released her first promotional album to the streets of NYC 'F*** you, Hate me'. This album was promoted heavily throughout the five boroughs of New York, Delaware, Virginia, Washington D.C, Michigan, and California. 'F*** you, Hate me' has also gain overseas promotion in her native country of Trinidad and even Japan. As word spread of her promotional album, many await her new release. Lady Bishop is a great writer, a rapper's rapper and an audience entertainer who is still unsigned. She's awaiting a label to settle and her time to shine in the main stream music industry. A Brooklyn born native, Derrick 'S.H.A.H Cypha' Bryant began creating music at a young age. He often came up with his own version of songs, by recreating the classics. His childhood dreams of becoming a doctor, lawyer, or athlete, were quickly shadowed by his obsession for music. The Birth of the Gift S.H.A.H Cypha began writing poems as a form of self expression. He knew this form of writing was his gift, and also his talent. He kept on writing many different pieces, even thou he was undecided in which direction he wanted to go. He was inspired by the Tical album by Method Man. To him this album captivated the true essence of the hip-hop culture. A culture in which he knew he belonged not just as a listener, but also as a rapper. The battle given name During his High School years he decided to expose his dream. With an attitude as 'eat or get eaten' battling was not just a battle, it was a lyrical war. While battling after school he met Shane. Shane brought rappers from all over the five boroughs to battle Cypha. What Shane didn't realize is that the pressure of the big crowds made Cypha battle harder. From those days on, Shane referred to him as Cypha because he crushed every cipher he was placed. Derrick kept the name Cypha, because to him rap is a part of his life's circle. Even though Cypha was a good enough name still it needed a personality. Then S.H.A.H was born which means Stay Hot Always Hard. Now High School and College Graduate, S.H.A.H Cypha's talent has also graduated from the hallways to the studio, from the streets to the stage. Now a seasoned artist, S.H.A.H Cypha is a problem for anyone who wishes to go song for song. With an obsession for music and a creative mind he can make you laugh, cry, hate, love, party or think. Referred to as the Street Lyrical Pharmacist, he is a drug that deals it's self. Believe the hype 'S.H.A.H Cypha's lyrical arrangements are more addictive than any drug.
