CHAMELEON (Blue Bird Café Berlin Records) is the latest melodic rock effort from singer-songwriter Wayne Grajeda. Strong, distinctive vocals and radio friendly songs led this Los Angeles, London and European music scene veteran to be previously signed to Warner Bros. Records worldwide. The themes of Grajeda's songs range from observations of the human condition, such as the "crime doesn't pay" tale of an alienated young woman who the media christen "Chameleon" or "He Rides The Bakerloo", the story of an immigrant who finds no small measure of achievement working for the London underground. "Snap Zoom" is a searing condemnation of television news in the United States. Still other songs, such at "Good Intentions" and "Private Property", deal with universal emotional feelings of love, loss, futility and hope most of us experience one time or another in our personal relationships. Wayne Grajeda's CHAMELEON CD is for people who like memorable songs and singers and is performed by an artist with the skills and experience to express the convictions, feelings and stories about which he writes.
