2011 compilation showcasing the depth and quality of the Planet Mu label's recent releases. In addition to drawing from the best of the label's current crop of artists, 14 Tracks from Planet Mu features four songs unavailable anywhere else: Oriol's 'Solar' is a beautiful, shimmering work with multi-layered vocals; it's followed by the modern classic 'To Be with Her' from Irish duo Solar Bears. Barry Lynn's long-term project Boxcutter contributes the post-Dubstep 'Ufonik' (featuring vocals from Brian Greene) an exclusive preview from his forthcoming 2011 album. Finally, Rudi Zygadlo closes the sampler with 'Hooray for Captain Balding', a new track showing off his Psychedelic, Dubstep-inflected puzzle-pop at it's best.
