American concert pianist Leonid Hambro, remembered for his legendary memory and ten-year partnership with Victor Borge, recorded these works by Beethoven for Cook Records in 1953. The juxtaposition of the early 32 Variations in C Minor with the late Opus 126 Bagatelles makes for excellent study of the development of Beethoven's compositional style.
