Product Notes
2009 collection from the Folk-Jazz singer/songwriter, spanning the years 1964-80. The compilation begins with Terry's first recordings for the legendary Blues producer Sam Charters which produced a highly collectable album on the Prestige label. It then progresses to his recording for the Cadet subsidiary of Chess, which commenced with the 1966 recording session for his sought after Northern 45 'Look at Me Now' - which crept out three years later. He then returned to the label in the early '70s recording three classic albums overseen by legendary producer and arranger Charles Stepney. This produced such seminal numbers as 'Ordinary Joe', 'Dancing Girl' and 'I Just Can't Help Myself'. We have also manageed to track down the final unreleased track from the sessions 'Hangman' an expressive Folk Soul performance. 17 tracks. BGP.
