After the devastating excellence of Audiomatique Volume 1.0, mixed by venerable label don Martinez, it's time for the masters to reclaim their techno crown. Steve Bug's imprint Audiomatique is back with a second label compilation, seamlessly blended by NYC's arch tech selector, Adultnapper. Audiomatique Volume 2.0 is a descent into the deepest realms of electronic rhythm, veering from the spare, crisp minimalism of Gui Boratto and Martin Eyerer's "The Beach," to the moody, strobe-lit melancholia of M_nus producer Gaiser's "Found Guilty Mix" of Adultnapper's own "Juror No. 9." a perfect snapshot of the label's diverse roster, Adultnapper subtly builds the mix from stripped-back, echoing grooves to tougher, club-battering technoid epics. Electronic music's brightest flames - Trentemøller, Robert Babicz, Joris Voorn, Martin Eyerer, Gui Boratto, Martinez and Adultnapper - all contribute to Audiomatique's formidable reputation, weighing in with their heaviest tracks. Audiomatique Volume 2.0 also features no fewer than eight new, exclusive and unreleased tracks by Robert Babicz, Martinez, Adultnapper, Boratto & Eyerer, the Viewers, Joel Mull and Mikael Jonasson: six on the CD and three more on the 12"s. Adultnapper's mix illustrates the electronic zeitgeist, and offers a glimpse of where house and techno are heading in the future. Other artists include: Stephan Hinz and Alexi Delano.
