Junko Onishi to release her first-ever solo piano album on CD and LP simultaneously!

Jazz pianist Junko Onishi pursues her unique jazz aesthetic in various ensembles, including trios, quartets, and sextets.

Her latest release, her first in about four years since 2021's 'Grand Voyage', is a solo piano collection featuring her own selections.

Recorded in a concert hall, the album features selections from pianists she deeply admires, such as Thelonious Monk and Duke Ellington, alongside songs immortalized by legendary vocalists like Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.

Additionally, a medley of 'Memories of You / Lover Come Back to Me / Stardust' is included as an LP-exclusive track.
