Swiftly picking up in popularity with his 5th album THE MYSTERIOUS PRODUCTION OF EGGS, Andrew Bird then signed with Fat Possum Records for his 2007 highly anticipated follow-up record ARMCHAIR APOCRYPHA and working hard throughout the year managed to more than double his album sales, live ticket sales, promotional & media coverage etc. Now he stands poised with a well established sales history, critical anticipation and consumer enthusiasm. Andrew Bird spent most of 2008 working on NOBLE BEAST. During this time, he was invited by the New York Times to write about his experiences in the studio for a 3-part series.
