Ahmad's cousin, Andrew is a professional baseball player in Myrtle Beach and has feelings for his college sweetheart Kelly who is a teacher in the same city. Kelly is reluctant in seeing Andrew because she remembers the way things ended between them. Kelly's friend Tyler who is also friends with Andrew encourages Kelly to give Andrew a second chance for Christmas. Tyler reminds Kelly on all the good things that she and Andrew had together. Crystal wants for Christmas is a baby which is top on her list. Crystal's husband Chris wants to wait because he remembers the pain of losing their child and wants to make sure they are ready. Crystal's friend Monica visits for Christmas and brings her opinionated associate Evan to meet the family.
