Product Notes
Anton Ferdinand Titz (1742-1810) is a remarkable persona in the history of Western art music, a violinist, and a gifted
composer, who left a small but significant legacy. The story of his life is full of mysteries. N. Melgunov, his first biographer, published the article (1842) that brought a lot of inaccuracy and confusion about Titz's life events and chronology. Only recently did thorough studies of the composer's archives and manuscripts make it possible to restore the outline of his life.
