Kane can be seen as the most popular Dutch band of the 00's. During it's final stage, the group consisted of the two original members, Dinand Woesthoff (lead vocals) and Dennis van Leeuwen (guitar). Their music can be described as "popular rock". The band was inspired by U2, Pearl Jam, Queen and Nirvana.

The group started in The Hague in 1998, when Dinand and Dennis met each other in a beach cafe where they were both working at that time. Both had a passion for music and it did not take long before they were discovered in a small cafe where they performed for a very small audience.

Throughout their career, Kane has had several number 1 hits and they received multiple awards, including TMF awards, MTV Europe music awards and 6 Edison awards. Their critically acclaimed and double platinum debut album As Long As You Want This is now available on vinyl for the first time. This album contains the hit singles "Damn Those Eyes", "Can You Handle Me", "I Will Keep My Head Down" and "Where Do I Go".
