His sound is timeless; reflective of the '80s era during which he flourished and undeniable today. Brian's collaborators over the years could form a Mount Rushmore of funk and include George Benson, Kashif, Melba Moore, and Gwen Guthrie among others. When his roller disco hit "A Good Time" dropped on UK-based label Super Disco Edits two years ago, Brian gained instant notoriety in the current modern-funk scene. We are proud to present a new 45 from Brian's group B & the Family (featuring his actual family) that will have every dance floor, pool party, and cookout rockin! Originally released in 1984, we're proud to offer this party-starting boogie tune on 45 for the very first time! The defining bass groove, vocoder-peppered bridge, and buttery background vocals from Brian's wife Katie Goulet are just a few things this record has going for it.
