Bach Violin Concertos contains 3 Violin Concertos written by J. S. Bach including his most famous work entitled The Concerto for 2 Violins Strings and Continuo in D Minor BWV 1043s also known as the Double Violin Concerto or Bach Double. With outstanding performances by Yehudi Menuhin and Christian Ferras on violin and the Robert Masters Chamber Orchestra (conducted by Yehudi Menuhin) this release is sure not to be missed! Recorded on October 7-8th 1958 and July 8th 1959 at the Kingsway Hall London. Mastered from the original Master Tapes from the Abbey Road Studios this extended resolution CD (XRCD24) from JVC brings the listener higher fidelity and improved audio quality by enhancing the process of mastering and manufacturing compact discs. This XRCD24 is compatible with all CD players.
