Product Notes
UK two CD set. Warren Storm has been at the forefront of South Louisiana music for almost 60 years. In that time he's sung Rock 'n' Roll, R&B, Soul, Country and Swamp Pop, all with authority and aplomb. He's also played drums for most of the artists in his peer group, most recently as the rhythm section anchor for LA supergroup Lil' Band O' Gold. He spent two lengthy tenures recording for Huey Meaux in the '60s and '70s. For the first time ever, the majority of these recordings are brought together in this Ace package. Disc One covers Warren's' 60s sides for Huey Meaux, and Disc Two brings together everything he cut for Huey in the '70s and early '80s. More than half of these tracks have never appeared on CD until now. Several of them are heard here for the first time ever. The package is being released with Warren's full approval and active participation. It covers over 20 years of his lengthy career and is guaranteed to appeal to all who love the music of South Texas and South Louisiana.
