Stonks, the Belgian quartet formed in 2021, unveils their new EP badger, a bold work that fuses Crank-Wave, Post-punk, Noise, and Shoegaze. Inspired by the UK post-punk revival and bands like Squid, Shame and Black Midi, Stonks has created a sound that is raw, hypnotic and resolutely innovative.

badger is the fruit of a unique alchemy between four friends, united by a shared passion and a collective energy that reverberates in every note. Composed in a cramped, windowless room of less than 15m², the album carries with it the tensions and symbioses of their creative sessions.
