Middle String Quartets

Beethoven's middle string quartets share the grandeur and bold experimentation of the 'Eroica' Symphony and are are significantly longer and more developed than the previous set of 1801. They are expertly performed here by the Cypress String Quartet, whose recording of Beethoven's late quartets was described as 'the best, bar none, I've yet to encounter' and, I've yet to encounter' and, I've yet to encounter' and praised for it's 'technical perfection and keenness of interpretive insight' in Fanfare magazine.
