This first album includes some of the most famous and popular sonatas such as the "Moonlight", "Waldstein" and "Pathetique" sonatas. Through his studies with Leon Fleisher, a pedagogical tradition links him directly to Beethoven. His playing is characterized by a fascinating and tremendous expressiveness, delighting critics and listeners alike. One can't get any closer to Beethoven than on these recordings.
