La Bellezza (The Beauty)

A program of music for the viola da gamba spanning music of the Renaissance, Baroque and Classical eras. The viola da gamba was considered the most prestigious and regal of instruments for centuries before being supplanted by the more sonically lush and resonant violincello. Dietmar Berger, is a Cologne born and based cellist/viola da gambist, composer and arranger.
