In the thirty years since he was Roomful of Blues' first trumpet player, Al Basile has written and performed across many musical genres. On "Blue Ink," his fourth solo project, Al sticks close to his blues roots. Blues greats Duke Robillard and Jerry Portnoy help form a dream backup band for Al's new songs - acoustic and electric, in classic blues styles from Chicago to Texas to New Orleans.
