Product Notes

If you happened to catch VH-1's recent broadcast recreating MTV's first day on the air, you may have noticed that between clips by Robert Plant and Cliff Richard there was a video for the song 'Hold on to the Night' by a band called BOOTCAMP. That video and another for the song 'I'm a Victim' were both shown that day and are possibly the only videos created expressly for MTV's premiere. Bootcamp originated in Baltimore and had loyal followings there and in New York, at various times sharing the concert bill with such '80's icons as The Tubes, Squeeze, The B-52's and Split Enz. But although the band released 2 EPs and several singles, there has never been a full length Bootcamp album . . . until now! BOOTCAMP: Back to the Shack! GREATEST HITS 1980-84 is now available! The CD features 10 of Bootcamp's most popular songs, including I'm a Victim, Fire in the Hole, A Woman's Touch, a brand new remix of Three Ring Circus and much more. It took 25 years, but it was, we hope, worth the wait! Bootcamp is: Bass & Lead Vocals TIM CAMP Drums, Percussion & Vocals HOWARD ZIZZI Keyboards, Sax & Vocals TOM ALONSO Guitars & Vocals ROBERT FALLIN bootcampcd@aol.com.
