Digitally remastered two CD set containing four albums by the '60s folk singer. Singer songwriter Melanie's first four albums for Buddah Records, dating from 1968, 1969 and 1970. She first enjoyed European success with a French No. 1, 'Bobo's Party', and a Dutch hit, 'Beautiful People'. It was her Woodstock-inspired worldwide hit 'Lay Down (Candles In The Rain)' that broke her to a huge audience. Both 'Candles In The Rain' and 'Leftover Wine' enjoyed major chart success all over the globe.
