The Kingston Trio is the biggest selling folk group in history. When original member dave guard passed away and original member nick reynolds took a temporary leave, they were replaced by george grove and roger gambell, respectively. In joining original bobby shane, the new trio produced a sound indistinguishable from the original. Both sides of volume 1 includes many of the trio's biggest hits and being able to compare them to the originals is a tremendously vital experience-a must for fans of folk/accoustic and especially The Kingston Trio.
