The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: The Fireman Guard DVD is for advanced Jiu-Jitsu practitioners. The 'fireman guard' is a made-up term to define a mixed position between the butterfly position, the half guard, a 'De la riva' hooking the leg inside, and a 'single leg" move. Olivier Michailescu, the creator of this term, describes it as follows: "Often working in this position, it seemed fun to call it this way because working this position is akin to playing with fire.
