Description
Heading a cast studded with talented performers, radiant Eleanor Powell plays a girl who dreams of making it big on Broadway. On her way to the top, she has two memorable encounters: one with a racehorse named Stargazer, whose winning ways could help to make her dream come true, and the other with a dashing Broadway producer/composer (Robert Taylor) who makes it all happen. Adding to the festivities are dancers George Murphy and Buddy Ebsen, famous comedian Willie Howard, and Sophie Tucker. As an unforgettable bonus, young Judy Garland sings "(Dear Mr. Gable) You Made Me Love You," her hymn to Clark Gable that created a sensation. Other songs include "Yours and Mine" and "I'm Feeling Like a Million." Brighten your life with the tuneful extravaganza of Broadway Melody of 1938.
