Soul singer extraordinaire, the great Ruth Brown’s extremely rare 1976 album “Brown, Black And Beautiful” was produced and written by legendary soul producer Jerry Williams Jr. (aka Swamp Dogg) and recorded at the famed Muscle Shoals studios in Alabama with just basic backing tracks. Much controversy surrounds this rare album which almost was never released. Presented here in its original form, newly remastered.
