An instrumental rock band that hailed from New Jersey, The Intruders consisted of guitarists George and Augie Mitchell and drummer Joe Rebardo. They were discovered in the late 1950's by Lee Gallo and Larry Bennett of Fame Records. In 1961 The Intruders moved to the New York based Beltone Records label and released the classic single "Camptown Rock" b/w "Morse Code" which is presented here in it's original 7" vinyl mix, newly remastered and finally available in the digital domain.
