The Charming Snakes make their way through a noisy soundscape in which equal parts of Sonic Youth & the Fall intertwine while the band gleefully performs a Mexican hat dance upon punk's still-warm carcass. Instead of a band of pretense-cultivating art-school dropouts they're a menacing cult of noise-rock goons who'd rather incite noise complaints from their neighbors than tend to haughty decons.
