Jimmy Rodgers played lead guitar in Muddy´s first bluesband in Chicago, he was also a great singer and songwriter himself! "Chicago Bound" and "Sloopy Drunk" were some of his big hits. You can also hear on this session Jimmy´s son, John Primer, Willie Kent and the great Billy Branch! Big Moose got famous with his sessions on piano with Earl Hooker, but he has also great recordings by himself. On this CD, with the same band like on the Rodgers recordings, he sings Bluesclassics like "Anna Lee" and more.
